I know it had been to long since we had really known each other Zach but I will never forget the many smiles you put on my face the summer we spent hanging out almost everyday with Blake, Brittany & Josh. You were an awesome person with so much life and enough personality to share with everyone you met. Your family is so near and dear to my heart and I hope we can somehow, all of us, comfort them in their time of need. Thanks for the waves and the dolphins and the sharks we saw on our adventures in your honor. So glad that your emotions are now at ease while you sit on a surfboard in heaven and watch over everyone you loved and who loved you.

My deepest sympathies for you and your family. It is hard to be separated from those that we love. God is our father and we will all be given the opportunity to be reunited again as his eternal family. Christ has said, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (John 14:18.) He will come to you even when no one else can. We love you. We are praying for you all.

He was a bubbly and respectable young man that came from a nice family, that I had the pleasure of knowing. So I say to u Zachary Deforge spread ur wings and fly because God has better plans for you. Zach, You have always been like a son to us. For all the times you and Blake spent between our house and yours attached at the hip. I can't imagine our life without you. I've already seen the signs you've sent from the waves on Sunday to Blake locating his green guitar pic that you two would play guitar together in 7th grade which is just like your green pic with the turtle on it. Zach was perfect in every way. There is not one thing I would of changed by the beautiful child God brought to earth. He radiated light in the room as soon as he walked in.
