John Douglas Hensley

John Douglas Hensley, 65, of Richlands died Friday, May 25, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hensley loved fishing, Tarheels, Nascar, WWE. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Capitola Hensley, Charles Hensley, Ray Hensley; sister: Lizzie Hensley.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Five Mile Free Will Chapel at 11:00 am on Monday, May 28, 2012 with the Reverend Jeff Banks officiating. Burial will follow at the New Jasper M. Davis Cemetery at Nine Mile.

He is survived by his wife: Cathy Ann Hensley; son: Douglas Brian Hensley of Richlands; daughter: Melissa Ann Lown of Michigan; brothers: Tommy Hensley, Henry Hensley, David Hensley, Jerry Hensley, Danny Hensley, Gaines Hensley; sisters: Barbara Ruth Hensley, Carolyn Young; grandchildren: James Lown, Taylor Lown, Abby Lown, Coltin Hensley, Marissa Hensley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday at the Five Mile Free Will Chapel.
