Charlotte Diane Alexander

Charlotte Diane Smith Alexander, 80, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Baptist Health Princeton Hospital. Charlotte was born on September 10, 1945 in Jasper, daughter of Joe and Christine Rice Smith.

Family will receive friends at Kilgore Green Funeral Home Friday, May 8, 2026 from 1-2 pm. Funeral service will be 2 pm at Kilgore Green Chapel with burial at Edgil Grove cemetery. Dwight Forrester and J.D. Dickerson will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Alexander; daughter Alisa Alexander Jones; son Chris Alexander; grandson Jacob Gilbert; brother Tom Smith and sister Cathy Leake.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Lynn Jetton (Frankie); grandsons Joshua Gilbert (Dana), Cason Alexander (Kaitlyn); granddaughters Ashton Reed (Chase) and Crista Taylor (Justin); great granddaughters, Brooklyn Speegle and Anna Kate Hardin (Ashton), Kortlen and Kinlen Taylor, Wrenley, Willa Alexander and Celia Reed; great grandsons, Blaine Gilbert, Brantley Gilbert, Waylon Alexander and Clifton Speegle; sister Sherry Key; brother Leslie Smith (Shirley) and sister-in-law June Smith and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Pall bearers will be Joshua Gilbert, Blaine Gilbert, Lamar Smith, Allen Key, Jonathan Smith and Brad Alexander.
