Freddie G. Alexander Freddie G. Alexander, 82, of Carbon Hill, formerly of Robinson Street in Jasper, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Edgil Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Levi Sides will officiate. Ms. Alexander was a longtime member of Sixth Aveune Church Of Christ and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Earl Alexander; daughter, Sandra Dee Alexander; parents, McKinley Gilbert and Augusta Gilbert Kimbrell; and siblings, Juanita Brown (Brad), Joyce Strall (Bill) and Huey Gilbert. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Alexander; grandchildren, Bambi Darnell (Patrick), Jaime Michelle Dingler, Kaci Jo Chaffin (Corey), Jeremiah David Alexander (Becky), and Nikki Danielle Hudson (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Aiyona Webb, Zion Webb, Meela Darnell and Zavien Darnell; siblings, Virginia Williams (Charles), Harriet Petrick (Lou), James Earl Gilbert (Katie); a host of nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Julie Abbott, Margaret Finch and Faye Lay.
