Family will be receiving friends on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Chapel, Burial following at Gray Cemetery in Parrish with family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by father, Charles Richard Anderson and mother, Gracie Vera Butts and his first wife of 26 years and mother of his three children Carolyn Dewitt and second wife of 20 years Betty Anderson, sibilings, Vera Domineck, Charlie Anderson, Jessie King, Odell Anderson, Roger Anderson, Jossie Anderson, Raymond Anderson, Son, John Curtis Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Sarah Anderson, Sister, Luevinnia Jones, Children, Tracy Marie Evans and Joe Anderson III, Grandchildren, Joanne

Anderson, Charles E. Anderson, Daniel Joe Anderson, John Curtis Anderson Jr., Joseph Piche, and 9 Great Grandchildren.

The only thing he loved more than hunting and fishing was telling jokes to family and friends, He had the ability to have witty comeback for almost any conversation, something that he definitely passed on to everyone in the family.

Grandpa, I will always miss you, but I have so many wonderful memories of you. I will always think of you with a smile.
