Lawrence Clay “Larry” Diehl, 70, of Oakman, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends today, Jan. 28, 2015, from 1 until 3 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be today, Jan. 28, 2015, at 3 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Mark Howell will officiate. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery. Diehl was preceded in death by his infant son, Raymond Allen Diehl and parents, Elmer and Lillian Diehl. He is survived by his wife, Emily McClinton Diehl; sons, Charles Martin Diehl (Cindy) and Bryne Diehl (Kelly); sisters, Marty Staggs (Joe), and Pam Jones (Bruno); brother, Ricky Diehl; grandchildren, Cade, Grayson, Rhett Diehl; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Jones, Jimmy Dan Jones, Rusty Diehl, Roy Allen Martin, Greg Williams, and Billy Beck. Honorary pallbearers will be the 11 a.m. Musgrove Golf Group and Lawson and Sam Walker Murphy.
