Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at New Hope Cemetery of Sipsey. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Owen; son, Bill Owen; grandchildren, Kyle Owen and Bryan Owen; parents, William and Ella Owen; and siblings, Leon Owen, Hellen Owen, Louise Wells and Jean Bowmaster.
He is survived by his children, Eddy Owen, Terry Owen and Wayne Owen; grandchildren, Shane Owen, Olivia Ritchason, Chrystal Owen, Brad Akins, Kacie King, Kellie Owen, Darryl Owen, Candice Edwards, Justin Thomas and Andreanna Hatcher; siblings, Pete Owens, Roger Owen, Melvin Owens, Garry Owens and Levern Owens and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Shane Owen, Brad Akins, Darryl Owen, Jaydon Tidwell, Jason Edwards, Patrick Shadix, Joshua Cook and Joseph Ritchason.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
