Mrs. Mary Lou Alexander

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Rick Sherer will officiate.

Mary retired supervisor with Arrow Shirt Plant in Jasper. She also, worked at Bath and Body Works in the Jasper Mall. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Alexander; grandchildren, Anthony Thomas Alexander, and Bailey Alexander; parents, Daniel R. Chandler and Martha Grace Chandler; brothers, Butch Chandler, Ted Chandler, Paul Chandler, Bob Chandler, and Richard Chandler.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Alexander; children, Gary Simmons (Linda) of Hoover, John Simmons (Melissa) of Jasper, Don Simmons (Ann) of Jasper, Tim Simmons (Clarissa) of Cullman, Nancy Wilson (Sidney) of Foley, and Keith Alexander (Terri) of Jasper; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Simmons, Blake Simmons, Chris Simmons, Jesse Erwin, Johnny Simmons, and Ray Howton
