Myrtle Ruth Alexander Parsons, 97, of Cordova, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at the Cherry Hill Nursing Home. Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by her parents, E.D. and Birdie Alexander; husband, Walter Roland Parsons; and daughter-in-law, Janice Mae Robertson Parsons. She is survived by her son, William Daniel Parsons of Adamsville; granddaughter, Gina Harden (Daniel) of Hayden; grandson, Jason Parsons of Jessup, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Brent Harden, Caitlyn Harden, and Zoey Parsons; nieces, Frances Hunter (Leslie) of Cullman and Ann Wallace (Truman) of Cordova; nephew, Doyle Alexander of Arlington, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
