Patrick Scott Atkins, 43, of Carbon Hill, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at UAB hospital. Family will receive friends Sunday, May 26, 2019, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Kelley Cemetery in Eldridge, AL. Vance Hutton, Derek Porter, and Phillip Harkness will officiate.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene “Shorty” Tucker and Neil Atkins; step grandfather, Audie Espy.
He is survived by his parents, Randy and Tammy Atkins, Carbon Hill, AL; grandparents, Sue Espy, Carbon Hill, AL, and Shelby Tucker, Eldridge, AL; brother by choice Cody Heathcock; as well as special aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Phillips, Brandon Prescott, Joe Lee, Keith McCullar, RJ Higginbotham, and Cody Webb.
