Paul David Beason, 48, of Gonzales, LA, formerly of Jasper, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Family will be receiving friends on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 1 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, burial at Midway Cemetery, Adamsville, AL. Dr. Jeff Reynolds will officiate.
Paul was a 1988 honor graduate of Curry High School, 1992 graduate of Auburn University; earned CPA 1996. His favorite childhood memory was going to Disneyworld. He was the proudest when he became a father of Jack in 2009. He loved hearing Jack laugh, seeing him happy and watching his cats. He was very proud of his sister Beth for becoming a full Professor at Rice University. He enjoyed playing his guitar, watching sports, doing yardwork and landscaping. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Grace Beason and Arthur and Jo West.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Humphrey Beason; son, Jack Riley Beason; parents, David Beason and Donna West Beason; sister, Beth Beason Abmayr (David) of Houston, TX; nephew, Stefan Abmayr; aunt, Ann Townsend; uncles, Jim Beason (Dot), Jeff Beason (Vallie), and a host of cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cat Haven, 11130 N. Harrells Ferry Rd. Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
Pallbearers will be Josh Townsend, Errick Smith, Joel Beason, Nik Boatright, Mike Sprayberry, and Ross Mendheim.
