Perry Don Vickers, passed peacefully in his sleep at his home in Jasper, Alabama, February 14, 2017. He was a member of the Alabama Pharmacy Association. He served as a district board member of the Alabama Independent Pharmacy Association. He was chosen in 2006 as the Alabama Independent Pharmacist of the Year. Perry was a longtime member of his beloved church, First United Methodist in Jasper. He is survived by his wife and best friend of fifty years, Paula; son, Bradley Perry and his wife, Suzanne Powe Vickers and their three sons, Maddox Perry, Bennett Charlie, and Elliott Duncan Bickers, of Birmingham; special in-laws, Pat Barnes (late Bill Barnes) and family of Carbon Hill, Alabama, and Nancy and Elwyn Woods and family of Greenville, South Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
