Mrs. Sarah Reed Thomas

Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 11 a.m., at the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Charlie Brown and Alex Oberneder will officiate.

Sarah loved people, during her lifetime she sacrificed for others. She sat with the ill and made sure no one was in need while she had the ability to help.

She loved her church, Long Memorial Methodist Church, where she was a member and loved the members there dearly. Sarah loved the Lord and her family and it showed in her daily life. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emons C. Thomas; parents, Raymond H. and Zora C. Reed; grandparents, Will and Belle Weeks, and in-laws, Zerron and Carrah Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Tina Schnelle (Paul), Teresa Batchelor (Robert), and Terry Thomas; and grandchildren, Kayla Mills, Jason Blanton, James Blanton, and Juleigha Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations to be made to a church or charity of your choice in honor of Sarah Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Terry, Paul, Preston, Gary, Jason and James.
