William Arthur “Bill” Counts, 72, of Jasper, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Boldo Cemetery. Bro. David Byrd will officiate. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Gardner and Annie Mae Seay Counts. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Dowdey Counts; daughter, Kelly Counts Hamric (Andy); granddaughter, Emmy Hamric; brothers, Steve Counts (Brenda) of Stockton, Missouri and Dan Counts (Billie) of Bolivar, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Bill worked 28 years at ACIPCO and was a realtor/owner of Lawson Real Estate for 26 years. He was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church. He loved bird hunting, playing golf, and Alabama football.
