Erline Walton, 71, of the Providence community, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at her residence. Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, from 11 a.m. until noon, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at noon, in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Providence Cemetery. Joe Daniels will officiate. Erline was a long standing and active member of Oakman Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Perline Hood Kirkpatrick; and brother, Hugh Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her husband, J.R. Walton; son, Patrick Walton (Paula); grandchildren, Zach, Alex, Leah and Rex; and great-grandchild, Penelope Walton.
