She was born July 21, 1939 in Waynesburg, a daughter of Nelle Alexander Smith of Mather and the late Earl I. Smith.
Mrs. Parrish was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and had worked at Greenway Manufacturing for several years.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Uniontown and she enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, James D. Parrish of Charlestown, WV; two grandchildren, Kiana, Ethan and Nichole Parrish; siblings, Clyde Smith of Marianna, Joetta Clinton of Charlestown, WV, John Smith of Charlestown, WV and Bernadine Edmonds of Newark, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a son, Robert Parrish.
