He was born November 21, 1957, in Waynesburg, a son of the late David L. and Opal Anderson Henderson.
Dave was a graduate of Waynesburg Central High School and Greene County Vocational Technology School.
He worked for GPX Pipe Cleaning Company for 15 years and then worked 18.5 years for the Jefferson-Morgan School District in the maintenance department.
Dave has served for over 42 years with the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tinkering with cars.
On July 7, 1979, he married his former wife, Cathy Jo Buljat Henderson, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Jamie (Albert) King of Waynesburg and David M. (Susie) Henderson of Garards Fort; three grandchildren, Kara Kirk, Kaden King and Lexi Farabaugh; two step-grandchildren, Hunter and Levi; three brothers, John (Donna) Henderson, Randy Henderson, Todd Henderson; and a sister, Darlene Wilson, all of Waynesburg.
Deceased is a brother, Lee Henderson.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
