

She was born July 4, 1930 in Clarksville, PA, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Nora Belle Spaw Hart.
Mrs. Christopher had attended Jefferson-Morgan High School in Jefferson.
She worked as a caretaker at the Children’s Home, Waynesburg for several years until moving to Washington. She then worked at the Extended Care Facility and the Washington Hospital, in the dietary department.
The last couple of years she resided at Transition Care, Washington (formerly Humbert Lane) due to her health.
Mrs. Christopher’s favorite past time was playing bingo. She loved flowers, especially roses and her Yorkie, “Dolly”. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #175, Washington.
She was a very happy person and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed talking, meeting new people, and was affectionately known as “Happy Dot”.
On December 20, 1952 she married James M. Christopher, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, James L. Christopher and his wife LuAnn of Washington, Robert Christopher of Washington, and Patti Filosi of Washington; four grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Kuzma, Matthew (Jen) Hayes, Nicholas (Tara) Christopher and Patience Medlan; and a great granddaughter, Emma Kuzma.
Deceased are two sisters, Beatrice Hart and Mildred Watters; four brothers, Wilbur Hart, Charles Hart, Clyde Hart and Harry Hart.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
