She was born April 13, 1936 in Jefferson a daughter of the late Jordan B. and Susie S. Housel Huffman.
On February 8, 1958, she married William J. Church Sr., who passed away September 2, 1991.
Mrs. Church had worked in the housekeeping department at Greene County Memorial Hospital.
She resided most of her life in Jefferson where she was a member of the Jefferson Baptist Church.
Mrs. Church enjoyed the Jefferson Senior Citizens Center, playing cards, and bingo. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Surviving are four daughters, Rhonda S. Dulaney of Waynesburg, Cathy M. Grim of Carmichaels, Billie J. Balazick (Joe) of Amity, Ramona Jean Walz of Raleigh, NC; one son, William J. Church Jr. (Christine) of Waynesburg; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews, John, Jerry, and Leo Wolfe; and one sister, Linda Wolfe of Jefferson.
Friends will be received 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson followed by services at 3 p.m. with Rev. William Sukolsky officiating, with interment in Jefferson Cemetery.
