He was born May 30, 1955 in Clarksville, a son of the late Thomas Duda and Mary Sweezy.
Jim was a social member of the Jefferson American Legion Post# 954.
On January 15, 1974 he married Gail D. Jenkins, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, James H. (Theresa) Bowden Jr. of Pitt Gas, Renee (Jeffrey) Kovach
of Jefferson, and Melinda Bowden of Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Amber, Sydney, Madison, Jeffrey, Grace, Mari Rose, and Hunter; a great granddaughter, Evelyn; five brothers, John Duda of Mt. Morris, Thomas Bowden of Winchester, VA, Roy Bowden of Hiram, OH, Leslie Bowden and Edward Bowden.
Deceased is a son, Dwayne Bowden and a brother, Charles Bowden.
