

She was born March 8, 1934 in Labelle, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Scalise Manfredi.
Mrs. Confortini was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson High School.
On June 8, 1953 she married Sil Confortini who survives. They lived in Mather all their married years.
Mrs. Confortini had a long career of public service in Greene County. She worked in the Greene County Treasurer’s Office for eight years, and ten years in the Department of Veteran’s Affairs where she was the Assistant Director. She loved helping the Veterans of Greene County and their families. After retiring from the Veterans Affairs Office, she ran for Democratic Jury Commissioner and served three four-year terms.
She was a member of St. Marcellus R.C. Church in Jefferson where she was a member of the previous Parish Council, Christian Mothers, a Lector, and a member of the Ladies Guild.
Mrs. Confortini was a member of the Jefferson American Legion Auxiliary, the Jefferson Senior Center, the Greene County Council of Democratic Women, and the PA Association of Jury Commissioners.
Surviving in addition to her husband Sil, are a son, Dean and daughter-in-law, Sharon of Mather; two granddaughters, Dereka and Erin; a grandson, Joe; two great granddaughters, Makayla and Kamrynn; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Marion; two sisters, Kathryn Kiefer and Louise Manfredi; and two brothers, Tony Manfredi, and Louis Manfredi.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 29th, in the Behm Funeral Homes, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Marcellus R. C. Church, 1340 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344 with the Rev. Fr. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Jefferson Road, Waynesburg.
