She was born April 1, 1924 in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Sinibaldo and Cora Cremenes Zappone.
Margaret was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Fredericktown.
On August 21, 1951 she married Ikey Ferea, who died July 11, 1996.
Surviving are three children, Cora Kim (Joe) Frischmann of San Diego, CA, Michele (Ted) Rafferty of Fredericktown, and Bruce Ferea of Fredericktown; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Deceased in addition to her husband are two sons, Sylvio Ferea and James Ferea; nine brothers, Roy, Russell, Carl, Frank, Domenick, James, Joe, Chuck, and George Zappone; six sisters, Virginia Ohler, Carmella Bainbridge, Stella Dikun, Mary Ohler, Pearl Palone and a sister in infancy.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
