Patricia S. Bell

Patty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose life centered around her family. She was known for her caring heart, quiet strength, and the love she so freely gave to those around her. Her presence brought comfort, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Patty worked for a short time at the Pajama Factory (Berkowitz), where she met Kenneth Bell, who worked there as a sewing machine mechanic. The two were later married and eventually divorced.

She is survived by her children, Barbie Blumer (Kevin Blumer) and Shelly Fortner (Craig Fortner); her siblings, Mary Lou Lemley and Dorothy Tennant; her grandchildren, Haley Bissett (Kory Bissett), Colton Blumer (Kathryn Blumer), Brandon Wilson (Courtney Tedrow), and Travis Baker; and her great-grandchildren, Braxton Bissett, Ashlyn Bissett, Abriannah Wilson, Landon Wilson, and Ivy Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Justin Blumer; and her siblings Clyde Clayton Jr. (Sonny), Margaret Halsey, Robert Clayton, George Clayton, Irene Hopkins, and Donna Logsdon.

Patty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her legacy of love will continue through the generations she leaves behind.

In keeping with Patty’s wishes, services will be private.
