Richard A. Brooks

He was born May 16, 1955 in Greene County, a son of the late Elmer E. and Nellie Monaco Brooks.

Mr. Brooks served in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War.

He had worked in Texas and also as a deckhand on the river barges.

Surviving are four children, Shana Fischer of Uniontown, Jeremy Pyles of Carmichaels, Audrey Brooks of Washington, and Mary Porter of Bentleyville; five grandchildren, Santha Fischer, Talia Fischer, Lysandra Fischer, Christian Pyles and Cheyenne Marie Galloway; two great grandchildren; and a brother, John Brooks of Dysart.

Deceased are three sons in infancy, Richard S. Brooks, Ryan W. Brooks and John R. Brooks; two sisters, Rosie Teagarden and Catherine Stewart.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P.
