

She was born July 1, 1941 in Clarksville, the daughter of Albert and Harriette Wolfe Vargo.
She was an honorary member of the Jefferson Fire Department Auxiliary, as well as a regular member of the Red Hat Society. She loved chocolate, coffee, and making up songs in the moment. She also regularly went to dances, enjoyed bus trips and casinos, and raised four German Shepherds.
She volunteered for years as a Sunday School teacher, and board member for the former Nazarene church in Jefferson. She also gave Children’s Bible Ministries many years of support for the children of the community and the Released Time Bible Program.
She prayed fervently and studied her Bible diligently. She truly loved Jesus with all her heart.
She is survived by her children Audie Murray, Tammy (Rich) Neubauer, Danny (Dawn) Murray, and Sandy Murray (John Demski); her brother Tom (Sandy) Vargo, George Wayne (Micheline) Vargo, and sister Linda; and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clancy Alan Murray, and her son C.A. Murray Jr. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Albert Earl, Catherine Ruth, and Ronald Joseph.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Monday, March 30, from 4-8 pm and to the funeral services on Tuesday, March 31, at 11 am in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA, with Elder Jay Buckhalter officiating; burial to follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
