Yolanda F. Kern Palone

She was born January 7, 1921 in Crucible, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Kronk Kern.

A graduate of Cumberland Township High School, class of 1939.

On May 4, 1940 she married Alfred L. Palone, who died August 20, 1999.

She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Dry Tavern before moving to North Carolina with her family.

Surviving is a daughter, Joan Ellis and her husband John of Wake Forest, NC; two grandchildren, Amy Jezek and her husband Jeff of Frederick, MD, and Christopher Runnion and his wife Christine of Valparaiso, IN; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Jacqueline Callahan of Phoenix, AZ.

Deceased in addition to her husband is a daughter, Sandra J. Walker.

Friends and family will be received from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., the hour of services on Saturday, March 11, 2017, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P.
