Diane Martin of Stuart FL died peacefully in her home on December 7. Diane was born in Plainfield, NJ and moved with her family to Palm Beach, FL in 1956 where she completed her education. Diane then worked with her mother, the late Ann Martin, to establish The Venetian Inn Restaurant in Hobe Sound. She later worked as a real estate broker with Century 21 All Points. She then began working for Martin Memorial Hospital where she remained for the next 25 years before retiring. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, excitement for life & kindhearted spirit.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Martin Stokes of Atlanta, GA.
Family will receive friends on Saturday December 11, 2010 from 12:00noon to 1:00PM with a funeral service at 1:00PM, Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach, FL.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ under the directions of Higgins Funeral Home.
