

George was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late George Henry Aiken Jr. and Margaret Aiken nee LaMondia. George was raised in Massachusetts before leaving to serve our country in the Navy in 1948. He served during the end of WWII. After the war he lived in Springfield, Ohio for a short time before settling in Florida in the early 1950’s. George spent many years in Fort Lauderdale, where he owned United Electric of Pompano. He was an Electrician by trade. In 1979 he moved to Okeechobee, where he continued to work as an electrician. In 1995 He moved to Port St. Lucie, where he would retire until moving to Tampa in 2005. In 2015, he settled for good in Jensen Beach, until his passing. George enjoyed fly fishing and was an avid bass fisherman. He relished his time spent bow hunting and square dancing. Later in life, George became an ordained pastor and was a man of the lord. He wrote a Christian Newsletter that he distributed to numerous prisons. He had a kind spirit and never met a person he did not like or enjoy speaking to.
George was preceded in death by his wives, Marie Jeanne Aiken and Joan Aiken.
Survivors include his sons, George and Michael Aiken; daughters, Linda Kirchner, Candace Perry, Jenny McDaniel, Deborah Morganti, and Ann Attaway; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, Florida.
