Harry A Burgess III

Harry was born in Patterson, NY May 11, 1934 son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Conklin) Burgess II. He served with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He lived in Danbury for many years before moving to Florida in 1979. Harry was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft Corp for 35 years. He worked at the Stratford facility for many years and retired as operations manager at the West Palm Beach facility. He was a former member of the Danbury Elks Lodge #120 and a member of the Stuart-Jensen Elks Lodge #1870.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Evelyn Ann Baroni of Mt Kisco, NY and Catherine Joyce Kearns of Watertown; 2 sons: James Raymond Burgess of Port St. Lucie, Fl and Harry Albert Burgess IV, of Jensen Beach, Fl and 9 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by 2 grandsons: Harry Albert Burgess V and Connor Patrick Kearns.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 19th at 10:00am at St Georges Episcopal Church Tucker Hill Rd Middlebury. Burial will full military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery North St Watertown. Friends may call at the Hickcox Funeral home 195 Main St Watertown Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm.
