James Emil Howe

Born in Maynard, MA, and residing in Boston the majority of his adult life, James has been a resident of Ft. Myers, Florida for the past 10 years, coming from Gardner, MA. Prior to retirement, James worked as an installer for New England Telephone and Telegraph, which became NYNEX, for 30 years. He was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in North Ft. Myers, FL, and an avid golfer. James proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

James is survived by his wife, Naomi “Nancy” Hardy Howe; sons Mark Howe and his wife Belinda of Lantana, FL, Brian Howe and his wife Mary of Boston, MA, and son James Howe of Boston, MA; daughters Michelle Patrella and her husband Michael of Pembroke Pines, FL, and Melinda Akl and her husband Abdo of Port St. Lucie, FL; 12 grandchildren Hayleigh, Derek, Jason, Robin, Patrick , Laura, Jonathan, Samantha, Antonio, James Jr., Kisah, Yoshi, great grandchildren, Emma, Morgan, Tristan, Ambrose, Colin, Damia, Tristan; and sister Mary Courteau.

James was predeceased by his son Stephen Howe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Assembly of God Church, North Ft. Myers, FL.
