John was born in Akron, OH, on May 03, 1945, son of the late Joseph Futo and Agnes Shaw. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Futo. His legacy lives on through his only child, Sherry and three grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, and Lucy. He is survived by three brothers, Donald, Chuck and David, their spouses, and a host of nieces and nephews.
John retired as a heavy equipment operator with The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 675. He owned and operated his own lawn sprinkler maintenance system business for over 25 years. He was an avid bass fisherman and his favorite spot was the C-24 canal.
An open invitation celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2pm at his home located at 1104 NE Crown Terrace, Jensen Beach, FL, 34957.
