Johnny Keigans

Johnny “John” Keigans, 72 passed away on Friday April 15, 2016 at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care Center in Stuart, FL. Johnny was born in Moultrie, GA and resided in Jensen Beach, FL He graduated with his Master’s Degree from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Ga. He was an educator and taught Reading and Early Child hood Education. He was a reading specialist. He taught in many schools from Georgia to Florida and retired from Martin County School system. He loved reading, painting, dining out with friends and loved to travel. He traveled the US, Europe, and especial Buenos Aires and South America. He never met a stranger he did not like and loved dogs especially his dog Ruby. He was a very kind person and did a lot of kind acts.

Survivors include his son Shane and his wife Lori of Atlanta, GA and companion Michael Spurlock of Jensen Beach, FL , a sister Mattie Lou Kennedy of Norman Park, GA.

It is interesting the friends you make in Facilities like Stuart Nursing. They help and support us along the path of life. They know where we are going even when we don’t, but they stay by your side. There are few places that can stack up to their record of excellence

A memorial service will be held on May 7, 2016 at 10:00am at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care Center , Stuart, FL..
