Dear Freitag family, 
it is with great regret and deep sadness that we discovered Marie's obituary on the internet. Even though many, many years have passed in which we have met in person, we have stayed in contact by e-mail over the years and have thus been able to take part in the lives of both of our families to a certain extent. We will never forget the beautiful weeks we were able to experience together in Jensen Beach. This time combined with all the warmth that was shown to us by Marie and her father, who unfortunately passed away long ago, will always be remembered. Our sincere condolences to the whole family, our thoughts and prayers are with you and may they give you strength. On behalf of our whole family from Germany, Udo & Petra

Aunt Maries surprise 80th birthday party in Georgia 

I will certainly miss every email and phone call that started..."Hello my favorite Aunt...... Hello my favorite nephew"  we are thankful for all the years and memories we were able to share with you.  While we are very sad, and will miss you terribly, we are happy that you are finally reunited with the candy man, your youngest and your brother and sister.  Rest in peace my favorite Aunt ❤

She was a strong and powerful lady of whom I respect. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Michael, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom. I always enjoyed the stories and the memories of her that you have shared with me throughout the years (and her recipe for BBQ Beef!). Your mom was quite the woman and a true force of nature! What a blessing to have had her in your life for so many years. I know that it’s never enough but, she left you with a lifetime of memories and love. Please know that you and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
