Although I never met your husband, from the Guest Book entries he sounds exactly how I imagined him to be - kind, humorous, a friend to all, and  the love of your life. We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. He was great man, and he has been a role model in our lives of what a husband and a father should be. No one could beat Steve's scense of humor, always ready with a joke or just a lighthearted way of looking at things.  As cousins we didn't get to spend alot of time together,  but it was always easy feeling close to Steve. Steve was a wonderful classmate and teammate in the MCHS class of '62.  I wish we had spent more time together.  He will be missed.

Steve was a classmate 50 years ago and a friend for a lifetime.  I still smile at some of the things we did together.  I hope the family gains strength by knowing how well Steve was liked by so many people for so long a time.

I remember being your Best Man at Kays and your wedding the times diving, playing chess ,bridge and the times at the beach. don't forget the talks at the post office through the fence.

My heart aches for the loss of a truly fine man, sweet friend and classmate of MCHS '62.  So many wonderful memories of our school days and the times we talked as he "aged" and grew into manhood, how happy he was to find Kay, the love of his life and his true soulmate.  Steve, you will be missed so much!  I know the good Lord needed you more in Heaven and we will one day meet again.
