Patty Sue Barker, age 79, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland, Virginia, a daughter of the late Banner L. Kiser and Lucille Sykes Kiser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Barker; one brother, Lynn Kiser; and two sisters, Peggy Dean and Phyllis Lane.
Patty was a graduate of Lynn View High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid doll collector. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and spoiling them.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Kiser and wife Shirley; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda Hicks and Penny Lane and husband Virgil; one brother-in-law, Gary Barker; and several nieces and nephews.
Committal Service and Interment will be held at 2:00PM Monday, October 16, 2023 in the Garden of Light at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
