Rolf Robert Anton Gosswiler

Rolf Robert Anton Gosswiler, age 79, of Kissimmee, FL, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Lucerne, Switzerland, the son of the late Robert Anton Gosswiler and Erna Sophie Martha Schwingruber Gosswiler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by foster parents, Aunt Hettie and Uncle Paul. Rolf better known as “Opa” to his family as a young boy served in the service in Switzerland as all young men do. He was an Executive Chef at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He was a member of the Swiss Club in Orlando, Florida, and enjoyed wood working, fishing and playing games with his family. He loved to cook and prepare the meals for his family’s gatherings. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wilma Gosswiler; four daughters, Jackie Gosswiler and husband Rocky Miller, Debbie Gosswiler, Rhonda Boyer and husband Mark, and Aletha Thompson; one son, Richard Allen and wife Elizabeth; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Committal Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Thompson officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel Mausoleum at Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their thanks to the numerous family and friends in the United States and abroad for all the love and memories.
