Arthur “Ray” Roberts, 80, of Croton, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 6, 1937 in Unionville, OH, a son to the late Hubert and Helen (Hesson) Roberts. Ray was a member of Croton United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elnora; daughters, Hope Roberts and Michelle (Scott) Robinson; grandchildren, Emilee Pettry, Brian (Amanda) Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Elliott Hagans; great-grandchildren, Michael, Kloe and Autumn; sister-in-law, Marcia Ferko; niece, Anna Ruth Ferko and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ray is also preceded in death by his siblings, Don, Jim, Charlotte Conklin and Irene Allen. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2017 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Friday with Pastor Eva Marie Wolfe and Rev. Tim Lehman officiating. Interment will be at Hartford Cemetery in Croton, OH.
