Faith Charlotte (Dentner) Suver, 88 of Johnstown passed away on Sunday July 8th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones at her residence. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 4th, 1930 to the late Herbert and Marian Dentner. She was a dedicated member of the Miller Memorial United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 254 Auxiliary. Faith was a hard worker and devoted her time to others. She volunteered with hospice, the Reyes Syndrome Foundation and led a Brownie Troop for many years. She enjoyed baking pies for church functions, as well as for those she loved the most. She loved gardening and truly enjoyed sharing her harvest with her loved ones. Most of all, Faith has left behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, forgiveness, and love for all that knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Emma Jean (Tom) Stout, Kathy (Mark) Schmaltz, Linda (Mark) Harger, and Phyllis (Chris) Hajacos; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Watson-Todd, Karen Howald, and Hope Staley; brother, Noel Dentner; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bill” Suver; and her brothers, Richard, Jack and Keith Dentner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 13th, 2018 at the Miller Memorial United Methodist Church (5241 Miller Church Rd, Johnstown, OH 43031) at 10AM with Pastor Nicholas Carruthers officiating. Burial is to follow at the Hartford Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 2-4PM & 6-8PM. The family would like to invite those that knew Faith to attend a meal following the services to share in stories and help celebrate her life.
