Jim graduated from Lakewood High School and was a long time member of the Pataskala Masonic Lodge #404 F&AM. He operated Endsley Grading, serving the area constructing ponds, horse arenas and solving drainage problems. Jim also worked tirelessly as a Jersey Township Trustee, dedicated to the residents and the community; striving to treat everyone fairly and honestly in pursuit of what was best for the township.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathie Frost; sister, Janette (Bob) Lipinski; nephew, JD (Denise) Chalfant; Brother-in-law, Scott (Sylvia) Frost; Sister-in-law, Robin Clark; nieces and nephews, Erin (Zack) Traxler, Allison (Ken) Thomson, Steven (Kim) Clark, Ben Clark, Mike Owens and Kim (Tom) Gilbert. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Fairall.
Jim was a loving husband, committed and loyal to his family and friends. His greatest enjoyment was spending evenings with friends in his shelter house by the pond drinking a cold Coors Light, barbecuing and discussing his favorite topics; truck pulling, the township, excavating and farming.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial reception to celebrate Jim’s life which will be held 1-4 PM Saturday, May 26th, at the Jersey Township Building, 1481 Mink St., south of State Route 161.
