Janet Elizabeth Zarley

Zarley, Janet E. passed away May 17, 2024. Preceded by her first husband, Thomas Branscome and cherished husband Howard E. Zarley; parents, Roy and Ethel Johnson; sisters, Lucille Layman and Alberta Hartung; and brother, Robert Johnson.

She leaves behind her 7 children, David and Kathleen Zarley (Columbus, GA), Jim and Allie Zarley (Delaware, OH), Sue and Daniel Hall (Croton, OH), Jay and Mary Zarley (Croton, OH), Paul and Andrea Zarley (Westerville, OH, Peggy and Wes Showman (Spencer, WV), Amy and Ian Fletcher (Idaho Falls, ID), and Pat Embach (Columbus, GA).

Janet also had 26 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter due in September as well as many nieces and nephews.

Janet was a CNA at North View nursing home for many years. She was a member of the Croton Church of Christ, and an EMT with Hartford Fire Department for many years with her good friend, Glennie Ullom.

Janet was also "Granny" to many of Croton's children.

Family and friends may call from, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031.
