

John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Neibarger; children Lisa (Kevin) Johnson and Eric (Theresa) Neibarger; grandchildren, Emily (Ronnie) Bryant, Nicholas Neibarger, Harrison (Rae) Johnson, and Katherine Neibarger; great-grandchildren, Keelie, Jaymison, Bayerd, and Ainsley Johnson, and Ryder and Roper Bryant; brothers, Roger (Diane) Neibarger, David (Ann) Neibarger, and Tim Neibarger; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in passing by his brother, William Neibarger; and great-granddaughter, Rebel Bryant.
John prided himself on serving his community, worshiping the Lord, and most importantly loving his family. He proudly served the greater Central Ohio community as a realtor for the last 56 years, most recently with Keller Williams and as a broker with Key Properties. He developed his strong work ethic at a young age working on local farms. John would go onto work for Johnstown IGA, the state of Ohio as a meat inspector, N.A. Rockwell, Ohio Steel Fabricators, Wilson Court Apartments, N&G Construction where he built over 100 homes, and with other various jobs, counsels, and community boards. John was a founding and faithful member of Wayside Chapel.
Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH, 43031. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Fancher Cemetery, 11491 Fancher Rd., Westerville, OH, 43082. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John’s name to the Rebel Lou Foundation.
