Butt, Mary K., 89, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Heath Nursing Care Center. She was born September 26, 1924 in Alexandra, OH, a daughter to the late Russell and Mamie (Harmon) Richards. Mary was a 1942 graduate of Alexandria High School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Butt; brother, Charles Richards and great granddaughter, Mary K. Butt. Mary is survived by a daughter, Marilyn “Sue” Ratai; son, Fred (Janet Hawkins) Butt; grandsons, Gregg Butt and Timothy Butt; great grandsons, David Butt and Jeremy Butt; sister, Margaret Emblen and a sister in law, Carolyn Richards. A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, OH 43055, in Mary’s memory.
