Mary Lou (Montgomery) Danna, 92, of Johnstown, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on September 17, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Johnstown, OH, a daughter to the late Russell and Eva (Clayton) Montgomery. Mary retired from Tech Rubber in the early 1980’s. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Lawrence; son, Joseph; sister, Norma and brothers, Donnie and Robert. She is survived by her son, Lawrence (Lisa) Danna; daughter, Sue (Dennis) Pecynski; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Danna, Jennifer Lynn and JoAnna (Jeff) Moore; great-grandchildren, Debra, Catie, Michael, Evan Danna, Ava and Nicholas Moore; great-great-grandchildren, Casey and Marceline. Mary will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Johnstown Independent Baptist Church, 7397 Johnstown-Alexandria Rd., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church with Pastor Dan Scarberry officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. SE, Newark, OH 43055 in Mary’s memory.
