Wallace William Nichols, 85, of Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 9, 1936 in Columbus, OH, a son to the late Curtis and Thelma (Selanders) Nichols. Wallace was a veteran serving in the United States Navy for three years and retired after 28 years with the Columbus Fire Department. He was the Battalion Chief of Battalion 2 when he retired. Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Nichols; children, Michael Jon (Joan) Nichols, Karen Sue (Monty) Hutchison and Pamela Ann (Wayne) Meyer; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place.
