William Zimmerman

William Zimmerman, age 80, of Pataskala, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away 12-19-2013, surrounded by family. William had a quick-witted mind, humble personality and ease to befriend just about anyone he came into contact with. He was an avid Steelers fan and golfer who spent many weekend afternoons on the course with friends and family. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force Museum, Reynoldsburg VFW Post 9473, and the Pataskala United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife Nancy (Reamer) Zimmerman, son Eric (Patty) Zimmerman of Hebron, daughter Amy Zimmerman of Columbus, grandchildren Ashlee Zimmerman of Pataskala, Dustin Zimmerman of Granville and Ayden Maynard of Hebron, great-grandson Noah Obert , brother Dick Zimmerman of Pennsylvania and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Louis Zimmerman, mother Ruth Zimmerman and sister Ruthie Larkin. Homecoming Celebration will be January 11, 2014 at 2pm at The Pataskala United Methodist Church a full military ceremony is planned.
