Mrs. Dorothy Cochran Heaton, age 92 passed away November 20, 2010. Mrs. Heaton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sunny Side and a home maker. Mrs. Heaton was preceded in death by her parents: James And Para Hill Cochran and by her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 68 years; Charles Heaton, one daughter; Teresa Jolly and her husband Ronnie, two sons: Tommy Heaton and his wife Judy and Terry Heaton and his wife Sandra, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Tara Gardens Chapel with Rev. Joel Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood memorial Park. Her family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
