Mr. Henry Ford Briscoe was born April 1, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia and passed away May 16, 2015 in Riverdale, Georgia at the age of 91. Mr. Briscoe was a Member of the Teamsters, he was an avid fisherman, loved to hunt and go camping. He is preceded in death by wife, Lila Rose Briscoe; parents, Fred Briscoe and Nannie Briscoe; sisters, Willie Mae Wages and Mary Carlton; brothers, Claude Briscoe and JT Briscoe. He leaves to cherish his precious memories sons, Jerry L. Briscoe and Henry (Ovalyne) C.Briscoe; grandchildren, Wayne Briscoe, Crystal Duncan and Jackie Martin; Seven Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 19, 2015 and Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 4pm until 8pm at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Georgia. Funeral service will be held Thursday May 21, 2015 at 2pm at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral home in Jonesboro, Georgia Rev. Dwayne Barnes and Rev. Jeff Shelton will be officiating. Burial will be at Camp Memorial Park in College Park, Georgia.
