I loved Oscar like a 2nd father,when I was a teen I would spend a lot of my weekends with brother niece , we did a lot of things including going to play my guitar and sing on his radio broadcast.I always knew if I needed him ,he would be there . Rest In Peace brother niece ,say hello to my daddy for me .you will forever be in my heart I love you my friend!

Oscar Neace was one of the greatest men that I have known in my life!  Prayers for his precious family.  He will truly be missed.  ❤️

Uncle Oscar was a big part of our family’s move from Kentucky to Georgia in the early ‘70’s. He offered my father, Harold, a job at the Shell Gas Station on Tara Blvd and encouraged him to buy his own location on Hwy 85 in Riverdale.   

My father passed away in 2010 so I felt I should share how much a part of his life Oscar Neace was. He was a brother to him in all the ways that mattered. They were always on adventures together. First with motorcycles and then with motor homes and boats. Whatever project Oscar found himself into, my Daddy was right beside him. 

Oscar was a sincere person with a kind heart. His generosity for those close to him knew no bounds. His children and grandchildren have been given opportunities that a lot of people aren’t as they were provided an outstanding patriarch in Oscar. A person who lead by example by working hard for everything he had and teaching them the importance of family.   

His family may have lost the rudder to their boat but they will still sail true through life’s waters as he showed them how to persevere through even the hardest of times. 

May the God of peace grant those who loved Oscar comfort during this time.  My prayer is that they will feel the love and support from those around them and will be thankful for the blessings that remain.

It was a pleasure getting to know Oscar through his wife Trish. My wife and I spent some good times with them at their lake home and in Jesup, GA.
Oscar will be missed, but I know he is at rest now in Heaven,

I've known since I was really little he's always been the life of the party always joking around I can remember going to my dad's work and seeing as soon as I walked in always had a smile on his face he always loved everybody he was always there when you needed him most I always loved going to quality used auto parts just to see my dad work and to be able to enjoy the laughter of everybody there always made you feel welcome. I thought of him as like another papa he would always make my kids laugh he might not agree with some ways that you live your life but he tried to stand by you'll be greatly missed and appreciated but never forgotten. Uncle Oscar, you will be greatly missed! One of my fondest memories is being at the lake when I was a kid and Dad was going to pull you behind the boat skiing, He would ask, "Are you ready ski king?" and you would answer, "let her go daddy O".  I pray for peace for all your loved ones, may they all smiles when they think of you. 

I have known Oscar since my teenage years and have loved him like a brother ever since. I have so many memories of him that I could write a book. Camping together, skiing together, working with him on his lake house, going to NASCAR races and many more trips together.  When I needed a friend to talk to I always called him for advice. I’m really going to miss those phone calls. He was my brother-in-law for twenty-five years. We have always stayed close. His children and I will keep his memory in our hearts forever.

The best pappaw ever to his grandchildren! He was loved so much and will be missed dearly. Our hearts are broken and our lives will never be the same without him.

Oscar will Always be in our hearts.  Within hours of meeting him , he earned our deepest respect and admiration. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed sharing memories of his Kentucky home and family. He was an inspiration to all who crossed his path. A devoted and talented gardener, he loved entertaining and sharing . His loving  wife Trish was Always by his side. Together their love for each other touched many lives and made us grateful that God allowed us to witness their devotion for each other and their giving hearts. Heaven has gained a great man. We will miss him.






I remember as a kid we would stop in GA and visit Oscar at his gas station. 

Although I never met Oscar, Anita spoke about the two of you often. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. You are in my prayers.

We have known Oscar since the days of the gas station on Tara Blvd.He pumped my gas .Then he gave Mike a job at Tara Wrecker,in 1988.We loved and admired this man .He always had a smile and would always go out if his way to help you. We will miss you and pray for your family to be a peace. We know you are. Love and blessings to the family.
