Mr. William B. Dobson of Newnan, Ga. age 97 passed July 10, 2014. He was born May 4, 1917 to the late William Dobson, Sr. and Sarah A. Edge in Canton, Ga. William retired from Lockheed after 30 years of service. He played the guitar for many years as backup and opening acts for leading country singers of his day. He leaves to cherish memories children; William Geoffrey Dobson, John Warren Dobson (Lynda), Iris D. Rhodes, Karen E. Cox; stepdaughters; Carolyn G. Pratt and Rebecca J. Pogue (John), eleven grandchildren, many great and great grandchildren , and a host of other relatives and friends.
