Alice Marie Angelo, the ultimate mom, grandma, and friend extraordinaire, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 16th at the age of 80, surrounded by her adoring family in her sunny Palm Beach Gardens, Florida home. Born on September 6th, 1943, in the bustling city of Brooklyn, NY, Alice was a force of nature who lit up every room she entered. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, James Angelo, in eternal bliss.
Alice was a true social butterfly, juggling her time between managing the lively Wycliffe Country Club tennis pro shop and running her bustling catering business with unmatched flair and pizzazz. Her boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Known for her big heart and even bigger personality, Alice welcomed her children's friends into her home with open arms, earning the endearing title of "mom" from all who crossed her path. Her love knew no bounds, extending to every member of the Wycliffe and Palm Beach Polo Country Clubs, where she was a shining light in the community.
But above all, Alice’s true joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother to Rich and Fred, always putting their needs before her own. Her role as grandma brought her immeasurable happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with Ryker, Lauren, and Maddi. She was their biggest cheerleader, their confidante, and their rock.
Alice's spirit of love, laughter, and endless generosity will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. She may be gone, but her legacy of joy and kindness will continue to brighten the lives of all who were touched by her magic.
Rest in peace, dear Alice. Your fun-loving spirit and zest for life will forever be a cherished memory for all who had the pleasure of knowing you. Cheers to the ultimate mom, grandma, and friend - you will be missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, with a service to occur at 5:30PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter FL 33458.
